Admittedly, you did a great job with The Office, but this is a whole other kettle of fish. Don't you dare trample all over the genius that is Peep Show.

I said the same about The Thick of It, but when I saw it was being done by the team behind Arrested Development, I felt more relaxed. This... we shall see. I always dreamed of having Ed Helms play Jez, but he's a bit too handsome. That is my greatest worry, that the American makers will miss the whole deeply unpleasant aspect of Peep Show.

Ed Helms would be hilarious, but I fear you are right and it just won't have the right tone. Spike TV is the 'man channel' and the fact that it's being developed there is not exactly a good sign.

Oh dear. I know the Peep Show characters do ludicrously male things, but always in a pathetic way. I am curious to see an American version of SuperHans, though. :D
